![]() We have been able to be successful for so long because we made our main focus the customer. Ken Parsons was re-entitled Senior Solutionist©, and Ryan Parsons became Chief Solutionist©.īeing in the gutter contractor business for over 15 years was an effort of adaptation and determination. We decided we no longer wanted to be salesman, presidents or owners but rather Solutionists©, which embodied what we represent to our clients. With the name change came a few title changes as well. Everyone who heard it liked it so much they thought it was the company name so Ken and Ryan stopped fighting it and adopted the name. The name we all know and love came from a radio ad the Brothers ran just a couple years prior to the change. In 2006 the Brothers briefly changed their name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions before finally becoming “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009. In 2002 Ken’s younger brother, Ryan Parsons, accepted a job on the truck with Ken after the Graphic Design company he was working for crashed. In 1999 Ken Parsons had just left the teaching industry and started his own gutter contractor company under the name Waterfall Seamless Gutters. Brothers that just do Gutters is a service-based franchise with a proven business model that they felt they could learn quickly while focusing on bettering the customer experience. What especially drew them to The Brothers that just do Gutters was that for many years they had seen a huge need for white-glove service in the construction service industry. They are both very driven as well as competitive in nature, however, it was just a matter of finding the right business for them to finally take the leap. It has been a life goal for both Jason and Catherine to be business owners. Catherine’s father owns his own oral surgery practice, and she saw the dedication and commitment that it took for him to grow his business over the past 40 years. Jason’s father was the President of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce for 35 years, and Jason saw firsthand the impact a small business owner can have with community involvement and support from the local Chamber and its members. ![]() Jason and Catherine take pride in giving back to the community whether it be through school, church, coaching youth sports, or nonprofits that they support. ![]() They love coaching and volunteering at their sporting events, boating, and traveling to new places. Jason and Catherine have three daughters with whom most of their free time is spent. One highlight Jason had prior to starting his career at NDC was playing in the Tampa Bay Rays minor league system. Jason has worked for NDC Construction Company and NDC Asset Management for the past 18 years. He then went on to receive his MBA from Florida State University.Ĭatherine began her career as a kindergarten teacher for three years, but left that field for a successful career as a pharmaceutical sales representative for the past 15 years. Catherine was born at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and has lived in Bradenton her entire life, while Jason moved from Pembroke Pines to Bradenton at the age of two.īoth Jason and Catherine attended the University of South Florida where Catherine received her education degree and Jason played baseball while earning his bachelor’s degree in finance. Both Catherine and Jason are natives of the Bradenton/Sarasota area.
